In the spring of 2022, we started a unit for young people's mental health, UPH Älvan, which is an additional assignment for the healthcare center. The assignment involves being a resource reception with consolidated advanced competence for assessment, treatment, and consultation within primary care for children and young people with mental health issues at the primary care level. We are now looking for a psychologist for this unit!

Job Responsibilities

You will work in a team consisting of psychologists, social workers, doctors, and an administrator. The unit manager is a psychologist and also works clinically. The work involves counseling, assessment, treatment, and diagnostics of children and young people. The work also includes parental support, both individually and in groups. The focus is on treating issues at the primary care level and at an early stage. The resource reception collaborates with neighboring services such as schools and social services.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with solid experience in assessing and treating children and young people, as well as having CBT competence.

Additional Information

The position is a temporary contract at 100% from August to October and will then transition to 50% from November to March 2026.
